woke up this morning and found bags and bags of throwaway cups, napkins, and platez i hadn't asked for on the dining room table. went outside and found roughly 10,000 bottles of water on the front porch (which, for those of you who know my feelings towards water and parties, particularly those of you who are jack, will know that this is something slightly beyond fitting). my parents love me.
[today] feels like a really really noteworthy version of easter without bunnies.

at times like seven and eight pm when it hurts to open my eyes or move my body from the need for sleep and all i've been drinking is greentea, i wonder if my body lives and sustains itself on its own oxidized cells and wondering makes me tireder and more tired(.) |

seventeen ushers me in more kindly than sixteen cared to, hopefully apologizing for its anticlimax, despite two secret four lettered plague revelations-and how could it not make me sad? anticipation leads to conflict, and i'm always looking for contact-(meant to write "conflict" again, but what an ace typo..) not on purpose, but it comes naturally. the point, or, not the point, but the underscoring topic, comes in 3 days and i've been considering it hard. |

we could benefit from incorporating bengal tigers into our collective everday life. it's the solution to pollution. at first, they would be available only in traditional orange and white, but as demand for them grows, all manner of neon bengal tigers will come out on the market. we will feed them and love them and use them to settle disputes because they will be both refined enough for postmodern civilization and strong enough for riders to prove themselves using brutality. the tigers will care about defending honor. |

caught on to something really uncomfortable about admiration. once you possess a skill or quality or understanding that you once admired, it ceases to be admirable or interesting or magical-it's just another spread in yer chest. objectivity in the quality of a quality (hah!) becomes no good, and no good at all. subjectivity, being subjective, changes too. i'm sure a certain amount of proficiency paired with a certain amount of passion could make great strides, but it would be hard to find enough passion to build up proficiency in anything-of course, arbitrary actions can breed passion, or at the very least gratification. don't feel any obligation to explore all the possibilities necessary to explain. i'm not actually being that abstract in the first place, anyway. think of something or someone you admire, reread, rethink. no abstraction. you wan' buy a hertz donut? hertz, donit? ... .. .either all of this is true or i lack something necessary somewhere- a leetle bolt or so. |

by putting together all menial loose ends that should have been together in the first place despite the precious little difference their absence brings, (think, "wearing pajamas instead of sleeping in clothes", "learning to drive", "cleaning", "reading up on the things i care about", and "meticulous hygiene!") i somehow expect that i'll become a different, brighter, and stronger human being standing ready for anything and everything while holding the respect of, eager suspense of, and command over all others..by tomorrow. and in this vision, i'm shiny. like, realllly shiny. i'm sure this fantasy could be easily manipulated into some kind of terrible social commentary featuring the words "pavlov" and "degeneration" but i'd really rather not think about it enough to elaborate. tomorrow i'm gonna wake up and be fucking shiny, i'm fuckin' tellin you guys, and then i'm gonna glow all over your shit. |

for the past few days i've had this idea stuck in my head that goes something like "i would like to embrace and retreat into my family but i fear that if i spend too much time with them i will lose them as an enclave." but i'm pretty sure enclave really isn't the right word and each time it's come to mind i have been pretty sure that enclave isn't the right word. i think if i said "human enclave" as opposed to just "enclave" it might convey what i intend to much better but i'm not positive about that. "ohhh, well..!" on all accounts! |

my joints hurt in the cold even when i'm not cold. i don't understand. it may or may not have to do with dehydration. soaking rose bushes center this house o' de norff, and aye-can-sii all ze vindose frough dems.. which is funny, because you should be able to see rose bushes through windows rather than windows through rose bushes..which i can also do, come to think of it. this is high technology. i don't know wh-a-t-t-he fuck i'm talking about! it's raining hard, and we start the drive home in an hour. there's very little that's noble about california as far as the eye can see, even on a nine hour stretch of distance. maybe i'm wrong, or lookin in the wrong places. it's hard to know for sure. the word TRANSMUTATION is emblazoned on my cousin's card binder, and my eye keeps catching it. that's really all. |
